The Open Door of New Jersey
Statewide Provider serving the Developmental Disabilities since 2006

Adult Day Program Services

Serving Ocean and Monmouth County

The Adult Day Programs operate Monday through Friday from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm.
Our consumers are constantly active and participate in many educational activities.
Our consumers learn the importance of a healthier lifestyle such as dieting choices and physical fitness.
The Open Door’s Adult Day Program is a place where adults can be adults and build on their training skills while learning what it takes to become more independent individuals.
The Open Door of NJ strives hard to develop positive working relationships with local school districts in Monmouth and Ocean counties to ensure that a positive transition process from high school to an adult day program is flawless. We work with school districts to draw up a contract where an individual can substitute a day(s) at their school and come to spend the day(s) at either one of our Adult Day Programs. This has proven successful for our consumers whom after graduation can continue on a routine, educational enrichment, and peer socialization with us at The Open Door of NJ
